READ THIS IF YOU ARE EXPECTING TO USE INSURANCE BEFORE SCHEDULING ONLINE!
Please note that we do not participate in all insurance networks. The most popular insurances we do NOT participate with include Davis/Superior Vision, Eyemed, and VSP. Commercial Vision Insurances we DO work with include Envolve, Spectera, Heritage, Avesis, and some medicaid associated insurers. We DO participate with the majority of Tennessee Medicaid programs as well as Medicare and its replacement/supplement programs (excluding Wellcare).
Please note that it's the patient's responsibility to know who their insurance(s) is/are and to verify with us (Apex Eye Care, NOT a third party) if we are in network prior to your visit.
Also, please understand that if you are scheduling a "New wearer" contact lens exam (as in you've never worn contacts continually enough to take them in and out yourself without help before and want to start wearing them), please schedule your appointment prior to 4pm to allow yourself enough time for training.

Meet the doctor
Dr. Miranda Collins graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Biology as well as a Bachelor’s in Vision Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2009. She went on to complete her residency training in the Muskogee VA Medical Center in Oklahoma. She rotates between the Sweetwater, Dayton and Rockwood locations.
Dr. Collins is a member of the American Optometric Association and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. She likes to hike and enjoy the outdoors with her husband and dogs in her free time.
